Very nice little place, usually very quiet, and with wonderful sushi as well. Can’t say anything about their other dishes (considering my partner and I are sushi-fiends), but for what we’ve had, they’ve got some very flavorful choices. Great deals on rolls for the weekdays as well. The decor and atmosphere is very charming and calming, nothing crazy but it’s not trying to be over the top. Staff is very friendly, service is great, and taking into account all other sushi places I’ve gone to, Soho still gets 5-stars from me.

I ordered a tuna and salmon roll but the person helping me suggested that I get the Maki Combo instead. The Maki Combo was a tuna, salmon, and California roll with Miso soup and a salad and it was only $2 more than just a tuna and salmon roll so shout out to the employee for telling about this even better deal! Everything was very solid. All three rolls were good and the sides were too. Whenever I go to a new sushi place, my test is just to order a salmon and tuna roll to get a good feel for how the sushi is. The food was solid but the service was absolutely impeccable!

I came here with my girlfriend on a whim and got some of the better food I’ve had since I moved to Grand Rapids. We did the all you can eat option and sampled a good spread of the menu and had no flops along the way. I am blanking our servers name but she had blue in her hair. She was very nice and even had a little chit chat with us about what was our personal highlights and it really felt home-ee for that.
The Eel here is also something I’d firmly recommend.
